Stymied again because of the unpredictable weather. Our Catalina trip turned into an over-nighter in Newport. We did meet a real character from Alaska on his way to Mexico in the anchorage. Seventy-nine year old Richard has been sailing his s/v Fire Water for 49 years and has traveled the world. Quite a guy.
