We met this Canadian couple in Avalon last November. They're on a trip of a lifetime and we love following them on social media. We made this leg of their journey from Cabo to Frailes in 2012. Sail on sailors!

AVALON IN MARCH
Avalon during the summer is a no-go, only if you have to, crowded zoo but if the weather is nice during the Spring it can be a paradise. Last week it was the latter, sunny clear skies, great temps and wonderfully uncrowded. Add in a number of good hikes (one an ass-kicker), good meals (the pastrami sandwich from Antonio's made the cut) and uneventful crossings to and from Dana and you have the making of a great week.
