A text from his daughter brought tears to my eyes, Ron had passed away after a short battle with cancer. Ron was an outstanding third baseman and teammate, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, friend and just an old-school-all-around terrific person. He'll be sorely missed by all that had the opportunity to know him. RIP big guy.

SWEETNESS THURSDAY

Finally, after several weeks of little to no wind, Aeolus was good to us. Consistent ten knot winds made for a great day of racing on a picture perfect day. Skipper Bob added, "Great day on the water. Good job!"
