A WIN & A LOSS IN THE SAME DAY

Our long awaited thrill of victory came to a screeching halt shortly after the race when the boom swung around and hit Sue (not Admiral Sue) on the side of the head. Dana Point Harbor Patrol were immediately radioed and paramedics were waiting for us as we pulled up to the fuel dock. She was taken to the hospital for a CT scan and later released. Never a dull moment on the water.

Second time recently we were not able to race because of the fog. Sunny at the slip...foggy outside the break water. Oh well, there's always tomorrow (We hope!).
