French Toast performed beautifully today in very light air, the exact opposite from our last race experience. The wind was 4-6 knots and the boat moved along at 4-6 knots, a hair under the wind speed. Amazing! Bob, the owner-skipper said, "Extreme opposite race conditions. Less physical, more intellectual." The main and jib were constantly being tweaked for shape and trim. A job well done by all.
