The afternoon started normally, meeting in the parking lot then making our way to the boat. Skies were clear with a light wind out of the west. We readied the boat and off we went from the slip. As we left the harbor entrance an obvious extremely heavy fog layer began moving in. The "Skip", after observing the entire situation right before the start of the race, made a wise decision and said "I don't like racing in the fog with no visibility, we heading in." Smart move. Every day is different and some are foggier than others!
