ANOTHER BUSY SAILING WEEK
After our tuneup and second place finish in Thursday's weekly Farcle Race, it was time for the DPYC's Championship two-day, four race finale. Boats must qualify for these races by winning one of the DPYC seasonal races which we did early in the summer. We raced in the non-spinnaker division with light winds each day and finished fourth. Disappointed with this years "participation patch", we vowed to be back next summer looking for the trophy!

John (wide receiver) and Kathy flew in from Coeur d Alene Idaho, Dick (middle linebacker) from Anchorage Alaska, Dave (tackle) from Visalia, Rich (quarterback) and Cassie from Big Bear and Jock (defensive back) and Carol from Steamboat Springs Colorado. We had an awesome time.
